I just want to clarify, because the question has come up so often, that Jordyn received a stem cell transplant on December 31st. Ihave been told that this is a different procedure from a bone marrow transplant, which as many of you know, she received in 2005.
.
We are praying that her body accepts these new cells and that they engraft so that she can begin to heal and become strong again. This is a critical time period, and we ask for all prayers and hopes for success to be sent her way.

  1. We just want you to know that we continue each day to think of your whole family and pray for each of them. I think how this young little sweetheart has affected my family and they have not even met Jordyn, but know the bond that their dad (TF) has with this peanut. I believe that people come into your life for different reasons, some we see now, some we know later in life. I was blown away when Jordyn first came into my husbands life.....this name "Jordyn" was the name (and spelling...we were going to blend each of our fathers names together)we came so close to naming our daughter, but then decided on another one that was to fit her. I had never come across a "Jordyn" before and now I know why. You have given so much to so many and you don't even know half of them. Thank you. Not to be forgotten also is Taylor. You to my girl do not know what you give and have given and will continue to give to many others. Again I say to you that you were there for someone and didn't even know it and have helped him through some tough moments, just by your smile or your words. Thank you. For the family...thank you for keeping us a part of, whether it be with words, phone calls, or asking for help when needed. We will do our best to help in whatever way we can. We will continue everyday with the prayers and thoughts so that all will be strong and that the new year brings the biggest blessings to you all. Please hug that sweet little girl and let her know we are thinking of her. She is an angel! Pretty soon you will be able to have some more goodies from that special jar....yum, yum mints!
